EQUICUT 540 is a water-soluble cutting fluid composed of a high mineral oil content and special emulsifiers with corrosion inhibitor additives, polar lubricants, and extreme pressure additives. The combination of ingredients provides the fluid with greater resistance to microbial degradation.
EQUICUT 540 is free of: Boron, Active Sulfur, Phenols, Heavy Metals, and Nitrites.
EQUICUT 540 is ideal for heavy-duty machining of steel, cast iron, and automotive-grade aluminum, including grades 308, 356, 380, 384, and 390.
EQUICUT 540 is used in a wide variety of machining equipment, including: CNC machines, lathes, boring machines, cylindrical grinding machines, and centerless grinding machines.
The low foaming tendency of EQUICUT 540 makes it ideal for gun drilling operations and other high-pressure applications.
